Unknown martyr monument,Hakim Sabzevari University
The Unknown martyr monument is a memorial, dedicated to the Iranian Unknown martyrs killed during the Iran-Iraq war. It was designed and erected in 2011-2012 at Sabzevar, Iran. This monument is located in the main axis of mosque courtyard of Hakim Sabzevari University.
This project is a new approach to build a traditional Iranian dome with a new geometry. The architect tried to make a harmony between negative and positive spaces, and light and shadow.
